To join, all we need is your name, address and contact details to set you up as a mydeposits Jersey member.

Protect each deposit you take with us.
You have 30 working days from receiving the deposit to lodge it with mydeposits for protection.
The quickest way is using your online account. Simply enter details about the property and tenancy and then transfer the deposit to us by debit card, cheque or bank transfer.
We take an Administration Fee.
We will take a £20 plus GST (£21) administration fee from each deposit you protect. It’s deducted from the total deposit amount when you transfer it over to us.
Deposit Protection is confirmed.
We will send your tenant a Deposit Protection Certificate to confirm the protection along with our Scheme Information leaflet that explains deposit protection.
We keep the deposit safe.
We hold the deposit in its own safe, secure account for the entire length of the tenancy.
Apply for the deposit release when the tenant moves out.
Both you and your tenant must agree how much deposit should be returned and then authorise its release before we return the deposit.
Disputes over deductions.
If you and your landlord cant agree over any deductions to the deposit and your attempts at negotiation fail, then you can raise a deposit dispute with mydeposits. We offer a free and impartial Alternative Dispute Resolution Service (ADR) to resolve the issue.
